A common mistake beginners make:
They see a line and immediately try to draw that line.
Instead, ask yourself: What is this line describing?
A plane?
A curve?
A volume?
A change in direction?

When you start thinking this way, drawing becomes much more logical.
This is one of the foundations of my drawing method.

You don't need to memorize how to draw every object.
You need to understand the principles that allow you to draw an object you've never seen before.
That's what I try to teach through my exercises, book and video courses.
Understand the form. Then draw it.
