A few random photos of the dacha: Though we had few currants and gooseberries this season, we had more raspberries and strawberries. Sometimes our tomatoes have died from late blight, but this year was different. And, of course, flowers. Mom loved growing flowers, and we continue that tradition. #dacha #kudymkar #дача #кудымкар

We harvested the rest of the potatoes, earlier than planned. This has been an outlier year. It was hotter and more humid than usual, which late blight to loves. All of our potatoes had blight, even Batyanya, though it withstood it the most. So, if we had to rank them for resilience, Batyana came in first, followed by Sharvari Piroshka, and Red Star. And as far as flavor, Batyana is far superior too. It makes for a great purée. #dacha #potatoes #gardening
