Same chromosomes as every horse in this series. Sixteen years together, one fall — and that one was my fault, not his.
His only real issue is physiological, not behavioral. He steers by thought. That's what happens when a horse actually gets what he needs, from day one.

The only thing Forest knew was how to search for his mares. Nobody ever taught him anything else - for nine years.
It took a year to teach him something different. It took less than a year for someone else to undo it.
As far as I know, he's back to grazing in a herd now. Not a bad ending, honestly.

Bes wasn't dangerous because he was a stallion. He was dangerous because a city-center club with zero turnout thought a herd-raised four-year-old would just adjust. By the time he reached me, I already had four horses and nine more in the shelter - and he still became the hardest case after Nagar.
No fixed ending here. Just what happens when a horse finally gets one person's full attention, years too late.

Nagar is a Budyonny gelding—my very first horse. And yeah, I know this series is supposed to be about stallions, but when a horse acts like his balls are bothering him when they've been gone for years... the problem lies somewhere else.
