A Yahoo viral listing for a Senior Software Developer asked for 10+ years of experience with Claude Code, a tool that public previewed in early 2025.

The screenshot shows the role listed in Sunnyvale, California, with a salary range of $150,000 to $190,000 a year. But most of the reaction online focused on the experience requirement rather than the position itself.

Social media users mocked the listing as an example of unrealistic hiring criteria and poor technical review in job ads. Many pointed out that the HR team must have used chat GPT to write that job description.
