Portrait of a friend "Euphony" ! 16.5 11.5 inches (A3)

The harmonious colours represent tranquility and peace, and feelings of affection and joy I feel towards this person who has come into my life. Following the passing of my mum in 2023, I found life was increasingly becoming more and more isolating. I met this woman, who has been a great friend in recent times. Although it's hard, it's important to make connections and to make quality friends that won't judge you. I feel that the people I am drawn to have similarly gone through hardship and grief, but still keep going and being strong and positive.

It makes me think of my mum, she would be proud to see I am still at it with the art and trying to battle on in life and never giving up.
