Song: Holding On by Assens Sticko (feat. Miena Bien & Nikhil Mahato)

It all started when Assens Sticko told us he wanted to make a sad song dedicated to someone close. He created the music, and that’s where the journey began.

✨ Miena Being wrote the intro & first part of the chorus, and sang her heart out.
✨ Assens then wrote Verse 1 & the Bridge for me to sing, and slowly the song came alive.

At first, the song felt short, so after a month we came back to it.
🎤 Miena Being added the second part of the chorus.
🎤 Assens wrote me the Verse 2.
And I added my own touch with falsettos & adlibs inspired by Zayn 🙌 – in the final chorus, my backing vocals stayed subtle while the female lead carried the soul.

🎨 Miena even designed the poster.
📅 The song was supposed to drop in May, but after some delays we’re finally here in September. We thought about a music video, but that didn’t go as planned.

This project is really special to me – my first ever experience of making a song 💙. It’s just the start. We’re already working on more songs, and I can’t wait to share them with you.
