There are projects that are forgotten a week after the finals. And then there are those whose participants remain forever in your hearts. For me, the «CIS and BRICS Young Professionals League» project was such a project ❤️

Four months aren’t just a calendar, they’re a lifetime. A whole journey we’ve walked shoulder to shoulder. 80 of the strongest finalists came to Russia not only to compete for victory but also to be part of something big.

I believe that each of you took home not only new knowledge about the electric power industry and our country, but also warm emotions that will linger for a long time.

A special thank you for your involvement and for not getting lost despite the miles. You are the best! 🔥

For some reason, our society tends to think of women as fragile and weak. As those who constantly need protection and support.

I may have thought the same myself before. But I only saw true female strength in emigration. I witnessed the incredible.

I saw women in Istanbul break through a police blockade—not because they had nothing better to do, but because they wanted their voices heard.

I know at least three couples who broke up last year. And in each story, it became clear: in a foreign country, the woman was carrying everything, including the man. (@feel_with_rii, hi! If you’re reading this, you’re a giant.)

I saw those who built their lives from scratch alone. In a foreign country. Without a language. Without money. Without connections.

I saw those who fled abuse, threats, and the all-consuming fear of loneliness—choosing life.

And this is just what I saw with my own eyes.

Further, just some facts and figures:
— 4.85 million women in Russia are raising children without fathers.
— Women adapt more quickly to emigration. Men often run home after a couple of months without a woman. And women simply go into hyper-survival mode.
— There are thousands of examples of women managing businesses better than men.
— We never stop developing: languages, courses, a second education—women are always searching.
— People are reluctant to hire us: sometimes we’re on maternity leave, sometimes our children are sick. But when they do, we work harder than others could ever dream of.

As a result, we’re shouldering everything: work, children, husbands, home, everyday life, documents, ourselves.

So maybe the weaker sex in the modern world isn’t women anymore?

For some reason, our society tends to think of women as fragile and weak.
