Three years. Three years since my last actual vacation, and I finally got one.

Spent the day at the beach, just me and my wife. No kids, no laptop, no "just checking one thing real quick." Sun, waves, doing absolutely nothing productive on purpose.

Running a startup with four kids at home means alone time with her is rare enough that I forget what it feels like until I'm in it. Today reminded me.
