Y'all should try and get connected with these laws. There's a concept called comity, and its very broad yet good. If you want to aggressively pursue the reasoning behind your choice to enact patent bans, you'll need to have global precednets in your favour.
To do this, I say, get China to forefront the arguement. Or, you could do a deception tactic; pick a neutral friendly country to bring this argument up. You could say, x country and their parent corporations (China) are granted fair and comity protection (with a similar law like the one explained in the screenshot). Free trade and prosperity are dangerously ambigious .
